Week 77

Oh my what a week! It's been a great one! We worked hard and really saw the fruits of our labors.
We went to the temple yesterday and just had a great time.
It was fast sunday so I really took it to heart all I could learn from the Lord that day and this is what I got.
Doctrine and Covenants 6:14
"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, blessed art thou for what thou hast done; for thou hast inquired of me, and behold, as often as thou hast inquired thou hast received instruction of my Spirit. If it had not been so, thou wouldst not have come to the place where thou art at this time."
I love this and completely agree, I would not be here if it weren't that I inquired of the Lord. It is because I prayed and asked Him that I am here, and am who I am. It's amazing.
I know God has a plan for each of us here on Earth and we get the best experience as we ask of Him for direction.

I hope you all do that too. Ask God where He would have you move and what He would have you be.
I know I really need to do that now.

Week 75

Hey Y'all
It's been a great week, its been beautiful and sunny and today it snowed... :(
Well we are grateful for the moisture. Always.
So I have been sharing a lot of scriptures but I love this one, we are memorizing it and its a command from the Lord.
3 Nephi 27:20
"Now this is the commandment: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me and be baptized in my name, that ye may be sanctified by the reception of the Holy Ghost, that ye may stand spotless before me at the last day."
I love this promise from the Lord, through repentance and baptism we can be clean and ready to live with God again.
Thats why we repent daily to prepare ourselves for that day.
I love that the Lord provided us so much to be ready for all things.
He prepared the way, He overcame it all :)

Week 71

Hey Y'all!
It was a great week, we had fun and went hiking!!!
So I got many pictures to share but first a spiritual thought.
Alma 29:8-10
For behold, the Lord doth grant unto all nations, of their own nation and tongue , to teach his word, yea, in wisdom, all that he seeth fit that they should have; therefore we see that the Lord doth counsel in wisdom, according to that which is just and true. 
I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy. 
And behold, when I see many of my brethren truly penitent, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember what the Lord has done for me, yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me. 

I love these verses I read today. They are how I feel, I know that the Lord has called me to be His voice here, to teach Repentance. 
I know that seeing others take and live the gospel is what brings me the most joy.
I love being here and I love the people. I am sad the lack of time but the next 8 weeks will be the best.

I got called to train a new missionary my last 7 weeks! 
I am excited and of course a little nervous but I know the Lord will send us blessings.

Week 65

HEY! Christmas is coming!!!
I am so excited. Its been a fun week of caroling and playing in Snow.
We also have a visitor for the Quorum of the 70. Elder Bennett. It was amazing the spirit he brought.
As a missionary we are doing the Lords work, and it is His and it's so amazing. We share the Most Important message you will ever hear!! It's life changing and its one of Peace and Love from God.

Week 63

Hello!
Hope everyone was stuffed at Thanksgiving and especially with Gratitude for all you have.
Here are some scriptures we pondered this week, I will let you read them yourself.
In the Book of Mormon, Mosiah 2:20, Alma 7:23, Alma 34:38.
I loved how different they all are but all about Gratitude to our God for all he has given us.
I can honestly say I am, but I won't blab on, you have heard gratitude all week but one thing I am extremely grateful for is my family. For all of their support. Letting me leave them for a year and a half straight is hard. That is 2 Christmas', for some 2 birthdays and the daily time together is gone. But I am grateful for still always being there, to send love. Plus they don't have too much longer to wait now.
I am grateful for the Gospel that brings blessings as we live it.
I am grateful for our God, who is the provider and who just loves and protects us. I wouldn't be out here serving others for Him if He hadn't done so much already for me. :)
Life is really Good! God is Good! and The Gospel makes it happen.

Week 55

Hey! This week as been so much fun!
Things were crazy but we had a lot of fun, I love my golden girl. Sister Wilhelmsen. :)

So alright most important is the amazing things the servants of the Lord have spoken. There were so many great talks, I am just happy to know that prayers can be answered.
I went into conference with quite a few questions about various things, I prayed and told Heavenly Father my concern about each one. And each one was answered either by the speaker themselves or by the Spirit whispering to me. I love it.
Couple of talks that stood out to me:
Elder Larry R. Lawrence of the 70 talked about the things we need to steadily improve, How the Spirit can give us what we can work on it we ask sincerely and humbly "What Lack I yet?
I tried this and it works, I was given one thing to work on, not overwhelming but enough to pinch you into improvement.
Also Elder Devin G. Durrant, I loved the idea of ponderizing, we already kind of do that on our missions but now there is a word for it, haha. So right now I am ponderizing D&C 100:15, all thing will be worked out for their good if we are righteous and if it is for the Lord's church.

I'm sorry this is all somewhat dull but I really do love the inspiration of our leaders, of course there is so many more favorites I have from conference but I do hope you all watched it.
If not, just watch a talk a day!!! Like 15 mins each about....about. But I promise they are worth it, it's the words of the Lord just for you. He knows you and wants to guide you, you just have to listen.

I love you all and I hope you can grow from these inspired words.

Week 40

IT'S HOT! Hello Everyone, it is hot in New Mexico and I love it!
Can you believe it is June, July is like just around the corner!
Well It's been great.
Today I studied a lot about the covenants God has made with His children and with us.
There are so many blessings in return for the obedience to His commandments He has given us.
I just find it so beautiful and amazing all the things God has provided us with. We have so many chances and opportunities to receive every blessing He desires for us. It is never too late. Never too hard. Everything is possible with the Lords Atoning Sacrifice. We can use His strength whenever and where ever. At all times.
I love all these promises God has given us. And I am so grateful for those covenants.
3 Nephi 5:25

Week 38

Hey!
Well we have had some great trainings on teaching, it has been so great. All I can say is God lives and really does inspire man to help bring salvation to His children. I love this work, I get to be an instrument in His hands. I am having a lot of fun here in the Los Lunas Stake and this amazing YSA branch. I am so grateful for this place and for my mission. I love the Lord, and His work.
