Okay really now this is it! haha I fly home tomorrow!!!
Crazy. I am excited though that it is Easter Week,
A good time to remember the Savior and that He Lives! Today, with flesh and bones, because He overcame it all and was Resurrected.
I love this idea that because of Him, We can Live again too! This life is just a part of our journey there is so much more out there!
I love it!
I will follow him!
Much Love,
Sister Libbey

Week 78

This is it! This is my last post in the mission!
I can't believe it, this experience of serving the Lord has been so amazing.
It took a lot of sacrifice, and humility, to do and serve as the Lord would have me.
I have absolutely become more of who God wants me to be. I have learned so much, about myself, about people, and especially about the Lord.
I hope that I can keep all I have learned. I hope I never forget the feelings I have felt while out here, and I especially hope that I can  keep becoming who God wants me to be.
I want that for myself because I know it is what makes me the most happy.
I have felt so much joy serving the Lord and I know that I can be happy like this forever if I just keep focusing on Him.
The blessings God gives us for following Him and His Son are so enormous and so worth it!
Jesus Christ Lives today! He and God love us! and they have given us His church again! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
I love you all!
Love,

Week 64

Hello!!
I am so excited for Christmas, this whole month is just my favorite as a missionary. Everyday we get to talk about Christ!!! And people accept us!
A Savior is Born, and I love it. christmas.mormon.org watch BOTH videos on this site, they are amazing.

So I loved the Christmas Devotional that was given last night by the First Presidency. I loved the message of Hope, Peace and Love that the Savior brings.
I truely know and love that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to bring this to us, HOPE, and PEACE
and LOVE.
He loves us and Christ came into the world to Atone for us, to help us and guide us.
He just asks that we Remember Him, Love Him and Follow Him.
Christ was born into this world and He gave us so much! I love Him.
and I hope you all can love and cherish this season to Remember Him as well!!!

Watch those videos and tell me what you think!
MUCH MUCH LOVE,

Week 59

Hello,
So this week was Halloween! Hope everyone had a safe night, we had fun at our ward trunk or treat, passed out candy and Book of Mormons haha
A thought I had about this holiday being about the death, it just reminds me about the resurrection. All those skeletons and zombies will be resurrected some day because of Christ :) He covered it all, so that ALL mankind will be resurrected, don't have to do anything to receive that, its a pure gift for everyone. We will all live again, perfected and forever.

I love this thought, that there is so much more after this life but RIGHT NOW is the only moment we can progress and grow the most! Our Eternity hinges on NOW!
So quite wasting time, and get learning. Best place to start, God, learn of Him and our potential to be as Him, because we are his literal offspring.
Acts 17:28     Hebrews 12:9
Heavenly Father cares so much for each one of us, and all He asks is to turn to him, follow him and use His Sons Atonement.

I hope you all can find that and use all the tools he has provided to live with Him again, there is so much JOY in it!

Love you all!

Week 58

HEY!
So this week was so great, we went to the temple as a mission and enjoyed the spirit there :)

So I just can't help but think of all the blessings I have from the Gospel.
Seriously the knowledge we have from modern revelation is incredible. We have the knowledge of God's full plan for us, why we are here and where we go after this life, many people have no idea about these things!
I just feel so blessed for this knowledge. We know everything we need to know to have peace in this life and to gain salvation in the next.
I can simple say I know what my purpose is here, My purpose in life is to learn all I can to experience all I can, to become as Christlike as I can. And then I am promised a eternal life, forever in happiness. Becoming just as my creator is because I am his literal offspring.
I love the Gospel, to have Faith, to be cleansed through Repentance because that's what constantly makes me better. I love Baptism and the Holy Ghost for that great promise that God will always be on our side to comfort and guide us, because of a promise I make with Him.
He loves us all soo much! SOOO MUCHH!!!
God will love us forever, He will be there forever, and if we do all we can here and now, We can be with Him FOREVER.
There is so much Joy there! and I am just so excited for everything that is to come, and I so hope you all know and gain this knowledge as well!

I love you all, take care and be safe this halloween!
Love,
Sister Libbey

Week 53

Well This last week was great, we were super obedient and saw crazy miracles, found some great people!!!

Something I want to talk about is about who we really are!
We are children of God, our spirits have a direct line to God as our Father.
His plan is for us to become as He is, and to grow and progress to be an heir to His throne.
Before you think I am nuts,  read this https://speeches.byu.edu/talks/tad-r-callister_our-identity-and-our-destiny/

This and the Spirit have taught me of this great truth. That we are all literal CHILDREN OF GOD!
You are a Son or Daughter of our loving Heavenly Father, as you live the commandments he has provided and just follow our brother Jesus Christ, you too can inherit all that the Father has.
I love this, it just reminds me of all the things I can do to become Him.
Every choice we make either lifts us or tears us down. But all good choices helps us become closer to being as He is.

I hope you read this talk prayfully and feel as inspired as I have felt.
I love you all!!! Choose the Right!
Love,
Sister Libbey

Week 43

Hello!
All is great here on the Moons (Los Lunas) and Sister Morco and I are thinking every week we will take a fun photo, we will try to be creative.
This last week was fun because we got to help a friend enter the waters of baptism.
Baptism is so key and I am so grateful for all the blessings it brings.
When it is done by the right authority from God, we follow the example of Jesus Christ.
We make a promise with God that we will always remember Him, that we will keep His commandments and that we will represent Him.
In return we are promised the Gift of the Holy Ghost. The Spirit of God as a constant companion.
To guide, protect, enlighten and comfort, whenever we need.
I am so grateful for this promise, the Spirit is amazing. It tells me who I really am, a Daughter of God.
It guides me and comforts me. It is God's gift to help us through this life here on Earth.
Baptism is the gate to receiving these blessings, and it is a great start to the path to returning to our Father in Heaven.

Hope everyone is doing fantastic and is seeking this joy!
Love you All,
Sister Libbey

Week 41 & 42

Hey! Sorry I didn't post last week its been crazy!
So transfers!!! Sister Morco and I are staying! 3 transfers together!
Its just been great here. Excited for this next transfer!
Something I learned and loved this week is the great freedom we have here in the states.
Well I hope everyone is reading the word of God, and is taking advantage of the great resources the Lord has provided us with to be able to learn and know Them.

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! It was fun here. In the small town of Los Lunas there is one big park where everyone goes to watch fireworks and our apartment is two blocks down and we are on the top floor, and our windows face the park, so we had a great view!

Couple weeks ago we also got to go to Old Town in Albuquerque. Best shopping and history in one.

In the Book of Mormon the prophet Nephi prophesied of America and it being a land dedicated to be able to worship God.

We have some great freedom here founded by God. As the church says in the 11th Article of Faith;
"We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may."
I am grateful to be able to worship God. I am grateful to be here.

Stay cool this summer :)

Week 40

IT'S HOT! Hello Everyone, it is hot in New Mexico and I love it!
Can you believe it is June, July is like just around the corner!
Well It's been great.
Today I studied a lot about the covenants God has made with His children and with us.
There are so many blessings in return for the obedience to His commandments He has given us.
I just find it so beautiful and amazing all the things God has provided us with. We have so many chances and opportunities to receive every blessing He desires for us. It is never too late. Never too hard. Everything is possible with the Lords Atoning Sacrifice. We can use His strength whenever and where ever. At all times.
I love all these promises God has given us. And I am so grateful for those covenants.

I love you all!! Follow Christ

Week 39

Happy almost Father's Day! to all you dads and grandpas out there. Maybe you future fathers too.
New Mexico is doing great, as well as I. So apparently I am at my half way mark, or was 3 weeks ago...I don't know. But I just hope time slows down a little. That would be great.

So lately we have been focusing a lot on our teaching skills and refining them and I just love it. We teach simply, just as the Savior did and ask questions and listen. Meet the needs of those we teach and especially listen to the Spirit of course.
The work of the Lord is just so amazing.
I know that Heavenly Father just loves everyone, all His children. He cares and wants you all to know who you really are. And who you can become.
I am so grateful for his tender love, as well as my own Father here on earth. I am so grateful for all the care and love I have received from him.
Love you Dad!

And hope you all have a great weekend with your Dads, and loved ones.
Love,
Sister Libbey

Week 35

Hello Everyone!
So this last week, what I really want to share is about the Joy we get in sharing the Gospel.
The Gospel blesses us so much. To know Truth, and to gain eternal blessings for our obedience and faith. The Gospel brings Happiness that doesn't just help us here but that also makes us happy forever.
So you can imagine to share that with everyone you talk to brings even more Joy!
To share that happiness with another, makes me happy to know they will have eternal happiness as they live what they have been taught.
In the Book of Mormon, missionaries like Alma shared the joy he got in the gospel and shared it.
Alma 36
"21 Yea, I say unto you, my son, that there could be nothing so exquisite and so bitter as were my pains. Yea, and again I say unto you, my son, that on the other hand, there can be nothing so exquisite and sweet as was my joy.
24 Yea, and from that time even until now, I have labored without ceasing, that I might bring souls unto repentance ; that I might bring them to taste of the exceeding joy of which I did taste; that they might also be born of God, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. "

I know talking about gospel things, about God is odd in this world, but it is so worth it. They are of eternal importance. And you can find so much more joy in talking about it with others.
So share that Joy with others! Talk to someone about the gospel this week!
I promise you will make someones day!
Love!
Sister Libbey

Week 30

Well Transfers are here! and I am staying!
Tomorrow I will be getting a new companion, and Sister Van Wagoner will be headed home!
We will see what these next 6 weeks hold in store.
This transfer I have learned a lot. Being a Sister Training Leader and just learning from another experienced missionary. I feel like I have just learned from the best, Sisters Beech, Garate, Haywood, and Van Wagoner.
They have all taught me to use my time here wisely, to not waste a second of this precious time serving the Lord.
I am so grateful to be out here, seeing miracles, as the Lord helps us find and teach people.
I know that this is truly the Lord, Jesus Christ's work, to bring salvation and Eternal Life to all, to Help Others Come Closer to Christ and to be a servant in His vineyard.
I hope you all get to experience, learning the gospel, coming closer to Christ and then sharing this amazing truth we have restored on the Earth today.

I love you all and I hope everyone is enjoying this spring.
Also I definitely love getting emails and letters from all of you.
Much Love,
Sister Libbey

Week 29

Hey!! Hope Your Easter was great, Remember all we have Because of Christ!
Oh my, and conference was so great!
So I just love that we get to hear from the Prophet of God, and all his chosen servants.
All 4 sessions were amazing, if you haven't watched them yet, watch it!
https://www.lds.org/general-conference/sessions/2015/04?cid=HP_SU_4-5-2015_dPTH_fGC_xLIDyL1-B_&lang=eng
So out of all the sessions, I really loved the Sunday morning one. With some of the General Authorities that came and visited my mission. Hollands talk was so amazing, about how we can't celebrate Christmas and Easter without the ecknowledgement of the Fall of Adam and Eve.
Them becoming mortal was part of God's plan, and allows us to be here on Earth now.
I am grateful for the Fall to be here to experience and learn and grow.
We have a body of flesh and bone. We have the chance to experience things that help us to become like our Father in Heaven. Thats the whole point to become like Him, who created us.
None of that would be possible if we didn't have Jesus Christ. He overcame the Fall, we can be spiritually reborn, as well as Resurrected because He Lives, and went before us.
Because He Lives....We can have Eternal Life.
I love you all, and I hope you know and understand this, the Love God and Christ has for all of us.
Love,
Sister Libbey

Week 28

Hey Everyone!
Watch This!  http://www.mormon.org/easter
So this week was Zone Conference in the mission, when all us missionaries gather together to talk and learn from the mission leadership and President Miller.

This conference we focused on the Spirit.
What the Holy Ghost is. How we can prepare to listen to it. How we can follow all it's subtle promptings.
The Holy Ghost, The Holy Spirit, The Still Small Voice.
He is the 3rd member of the GodHead. Without Him, We wouldn't learn and grow. And know for a surety that Jesus is the Christ.
The Spirit is neccessary to help us, and guide us, but especially to confirm the testimony of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
By the Spirit, our questions of "If God is really there?" or "Is Jesus Christ my Savior?" can all be answered.
So we all feel the Spirit differently, either a warm feeling in our hearts, a feeling of happiness and satisfaction, a thought that comes to mind you didn't think of yourself, a feeling of comfort and confirmation, a still small voice.
How do you feel the Spirit?
and have you ever gotten an answer like that for those questions.
If not, I invite you to Pray, ask God if He is there, ask Him if Jesus Christ did die for you.
I promise you will get an answer, just Listen.
I know "..by the power of the Holy Ghost, ye may know the truth of all things" Moroni 10:5.
I Know Christ Lives! I Know He is a glorified Being now, helping us to Follow His Example and be as He is.
I love the Holy Ghost, His daily guidance, He is what make this work, the Lords work.
Following the Spirit, I follow the will of God.
I Know Jesus Christ is my Savior, and that He lives!
Because He Lives....
We have the Restored Gospel, He and Heavenly Father appeared to Joseph Smith to establish His church once again on the earth.
...I can have Eternal Life with my Family.
...I can be clean, and forgiven for my sins.
I know all of this because of the confirmation of the Spirit,
So I hope you all partake of my invitation. Just ask God.
Love,
Sister Libbey

Week 26

This week went by so fast! But Happy St. Patty's Day

Fun Fact: St. Patrick was a Missionary! Like me, but he brought Christianity to Ireland. And I get to bring Christ to the people of New Mexico so we are on the same team.

Well all is great here in New Mexico.
I love it here, and the work I do. I have joy everyday. Bring everlasting peace to people. And young people are searching for it!
Even if they aren't directly they really are. and the Gospel really fills all voids, all sorrow. It brings knowledge and peace, and Lasting Happiness.
It is beautiful. I love my Savior and His Gospel. I love His work.

Sincerely,
Sister Libbey

Week 23

This week was amazing!
First off, we had a Zone Conference so all the missionaries in the mission gather together and we had some really amazing people come talk to us.
Elder Villarreal (our area 70) , Bishop Casusse (General Bishop), Elder Craig C. Christensen (President of the Quorum of the 70), and Elder Holland! (of the 12 apostles)

So an amazing meeting with inspired servants of the Lord.
A lot talked about was how changing and repenting and using the Atonement really brings us closer to Christ and how we all need it, not just our investigators. We should all experience these principles for ourselves.

Something that Elder Holland talked about was how this time, right now, is the only time missionary work is successful, and it was deemed long ago that this would be the time the gospel would be shared with the world, and would stick...
"...having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and tongue, and people," Revelations 14:6
All the bible and book of mormon times there were missionaries but they were hardly successful, and this right now being the time it will be successful is also why there is so much opposition in the world.
I am so grateful I was able to meet and shake hands with an apostle, and special witness of Christ.
I hope you all look for truth, and stick with it, and especially don't forget to share it with everyone you know because it will stick, it will bless the people of today. And prepare us all for the second coming of Christ.

The gospel has brought so much joy into my life, I have eternal truths that help and guide me. I know there is a life after this and I am just here to learn and grow. I am so grateful to have an eternal perspective, to know the truth of where I am going and how I got here.
I love the gospel and I love my Savior.
I hope you all can enjoy the joy of eternal truths.
Much Love,
Sister Libbey

Week 22

Hey Hope Valentines Day was good!
This week was great.
I have been bothered to share experiences I have been having as a missionary so
Something cool that I have experiences is while finding people to teach.
Of course many people don't want to hear what we have to say, and are just comfortable with what they got. But of course we as missionaries keep seeking for those that are prepared to hear the restored gospel, those who have a desire to grow closer to their Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ.

There was a nice day that we decided to go contacting so walk the streets in a neighborhood and just talk to anyone that is outside. We prayed before to be guided to know what streets to walk down and what to say to each individual.
We walked and a nice young woman actually stopped and talked to us. She knew mormons and grow up going to many church dances as well. She wanted to learn more and now she is taking the lessons and really feeling the spirit.

So all I have to mention is that every interaction we have with people can leave a great impact.
It can of course affect them in the present but it can always leave an influence for later.
So always be a good example and always invite people.
Much Love,
Sister Libbey

Week 21

It's getting warmer! And the Love is Real.

Its Valentines Week and I really have been seeing the Love God has for each and every one of us.

The one thing that I have always noticed is that God shows His love, in what he has created.
The land we live on, the bodies he has given us. God, Our Father, loves us just like our own father on this Earth. Our Heavenly Fathers love expands far more and beyond we can comprehend.
This world, the beauty of the universe, shows Gods Love. Each of us, created all individually shows the love he has for each one of us.

I feel so blessed to be surrounded by this world, each thing thought out and created by God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Happy Valentines Day <3
Much Love,
Sister Libbey

Week 20

Hey Everybody!
So this week I have been thinking about Agency, that ability to choose.
I love this gift, the gift be responsible for your choices, and it is so great when they are good.
Our life and our character all come about because of our choices.
So have our choices been wise? Are we choosing good everyday?
I know that just one small good choice, leads to more, and only our good choices bring us the most happiness. Especially when we choose to be positive in everything that comes our way.
I am happy I chose to come on a mission, I love the people here in Albuquerque and the things I am learning every day.
I love you all and I hope you are enjoying warmer weather.

Week 19

Hey Everyone,
Time is limited in the Life.
God is endless. But yet as human we are so focused on the concept of time.
We limit ourselves by it. Which is good in a sense, to remember that we have limited time on this earth to gain experience BUT our spiritual growth, our family relationships and our knowledge, being God given, is endless.
So what is most important to you? And do you work on the things that will last?

God is Forever, and Christ Lives, but we only have NOW to become our best.
Love,
Sister Libbey
